Abuse has far reaching impacts on an individual, including financially. Often times access to money and belongings are limited by the abuser.
By donating the following items you will be helping to provide the basic needs to women, children and youth who are impacted by or fleeing abuse.
What to donate?
Monetary Donations
Monetary donations we receive directly benefit the women, children and youth who access services at Cythera Transition House Society. We are able to accept monetary donations through Canada Helps or in person at our temporary location.
GIFT CARDS
Whether it's a gift certificate to a coffee shop, gas, movie theatre or grocery store. With your help Cythera is able to alleviate some of life's pressures by providing gift cards to clients.
NEW PAJAMA'S & UNDERWEAR
Every woman and child who comes to stay the house is provided with new pajamas. This simple gesture reinforces the importance of comfort and fosters a sense of importance and feelings of being cared for.
